Hackney Central Library will be CLOSED FOR REFURBISHMENT from Monday 8 September 2025 to January 2026

Get ready for a revitalised Hackney Central Library! Thanks to central government funding, your beloved library is undergoing a major refurbishment this year. This is the first large capital investment since it opened 22 years ago and will allow it to better serve local residents.
